Land Development
Phantom Links Subdivision
Missoula, Montana
Project included a golf course, a road system, ponds and dams, and approximately 300 building lots for a residential home development. This project required significant earthwork associated with difficult clay material. Provided “Hillside Development” report required for subdivision, addressing constructed slopes and general development intent related to existing geotechnical conditions. Performed subsurface investigation using Orion drill rig and performed consolidation testing. Provided recommendations regarding maximum fill placement to limit settlement to tolerable levels, and general recommendations regarding road construction and future home construction.
West Pointe Subdivision
Missoula, Montana
Project included approximately 200 townhouses with related infrastructure to be constructed on a hillside. Performed subsurface investigation using Orion drill rig and performed slope stability analysis. Evaluated existing drainage features as related to the proposed development. Designed road section requirements for entire subdivision, and provided construction guidelines and drainage system requirements related to slope stability.
