Orion Engineering has the experience to
provide fully engineered, yet practical and
cost-effective pavement section designs. Our designs
incorporate local subgrade conditions, past performance
evaluation, and locally available construction
materials.Our designs include full specifications
for materials, and often include several options for the
contractor. We have adopted the Montana Department of
Transportation design procedure to reduce section
thickness based on geogrid reinforcement of the subgrade.
Our expertise includes both flexible
Asphalt Concrete, and rigid Portland Cement Concrete
Pavements. We are knowledgeable with design procedures
adopted by most local, State, and Federal Agencies.
